We wanted to get the sale started off right so we put “Tex” one of our good dual enders in first. Tex is a thick boned, heavy muscled, foundation looking gelding that ropes both ends. He scores really good, breaks flat, runs hard and stays real honest. He is one of the rare horses that can stand around all week and still work good at the weekend ropings. A low maintenance, seasoned horse that is always gentle yet talented enough for any level roper to compete on at any roping.

Buddy has all the tools that make him a real competitive head horse. He scores good, rates well and is real quick footed. He has a nice arcing move and handles cattle well. Buddy will have lots of run, yet is easy to handle by a wide variety of ropers. He is good natured and easy to be around. He has been used outside and is a pretty good ranch horse as well. A fancy black gelding that gets a lot of attention where ever he goes.

Levi is an outstanding heel horse that ropes both ends. He is a DNA typed son of the great Dunit Rawhide. Here is a super minded horse with a fantastic breeding background. Levi is a short strided heel horse that gathers himself quickly to make a smooth corner and a quick stop. He has been ridden and roped on by everyone from a #9 heeler to a 70 year old gentleman. He’s broke, light in the bridle, and very easy to rope on. Levi is also a solid, seasoned ranch horse that helps make your day work easy. We have left him off for weeks at a time and he is always been a real gentleman. Levi is a good horse, we are sure you will like him.

A thick made, classy looking dun gelding that ropes both ends. Rawhide is a real nice head horse with a tremendous amount of run and a quick move. He is as good to heel on as he is to head on. He has been hauled and used in the #15 to the #10 ropings. A gentle but very talented horse that will let you win at any level.

“Duster” is a nice roan gelding that ropes both ends real good. He is a big strong horse that has the speed to catch and handle the faster end of cattle. Even though he is a big horse he is really nice to heel on as well. Duster was raised punching cattle on a Nebraska ranch and is no stranger to having to work. He is nice to be around and gentle to use. He is well seasoned, easy to get along with, and can be hauled by just about any level roper.

If you have seen the photos I doubt we need to brag about how pretty this one is. “Shinner” is incredible. He is not just another pretty horse, he is a tremendous athlete, and that should come as no surprise. He is by a son of and is the carbon copy of Carol Rose’s great horse “Shinning Spark”, NRHA’s youngest $2 million dollar sire, who’s foals have earned more than $6.1 million dollars and more than 28,700 AQHA points. “Shinner” is top notch head horse, a trained cutter, and a ranch horse competition champion. He is as broke to ride as any we have ever had. He will break and get to a steer lightning quick. He is smart, eager and loaded with talent. An absolutely incredible horse with his whole life ahead of him. If you want him, don’t wait around, we won’t have another one like him!

A breedy looking and very pretty head horse. A proven winner that has been hauled to lots of ropings, jackpots and ranch horse competitions. Gentle and really broke to ride. This horse scores nice, can really run with a nice move away from the steer. Gentle enough for lower numbered ropers with plenty of talent and try for higher numbered ropings.

We call him “Socks”. A VERY CUTE heel horse with a SUPER GENTLE disposition. Socks grew up working on a ranch. He spent time in training with a professional heeler. He is a consistent working heel horse that is completely safe and gentle. His laid back nature makes him fun and enjoyable to use. When not being roped on by one of our trainers he is the main heel horse for my #4 wife. Ride him every day or once a month and he will be the same horse every time you catch him.

Spin is a rare three event horse. He is a super nice head horse that scores flat, has the upper end of speed, with a quick face. He is a solid heel horse. A good calf horse that stops hard and works a lot of rope. He has been used by a prca top 20 roper to a 72yr old senior header. A good bred, good looking, versatile gelding that is gentle to be around. A super nice three event horse that has proven to adjust to multiple skill levels.

Bobby D is a heel horse and a good one. His pedigree is the who’s who of top performers so it is no surprise why he works like he does. He is as thick as he is tall. He is super quiet and gentle to be around. He has been used by a wide variety of heelers including a #7 heeler and a #4 lady tied on. He is quick, catty and full of cow. When he is not at a roping he can be found with one or more kids climbing on him and riding the pastures or chasing the hot heels. A real good minded heel horse everyone enjoys.

A BIG TIME head horse that is sure to be a sale highlight. “Kokomo” is by Haythorn Ranch’s good stallion “Figure Four Chex”. He shows the big bone and powerful conformation the Haythorn horses are known for. He is a veteran head horse that has been to many major ropings and prca rodeos, including the prestigious Salinas Rodeo. He works great under all conditions but will have a real speed advantage for the long scores. An open level head horse that is sensible and gentle enough my #4 wife ropes on him. Kokomo is so well liked he has had the same owner his whole life. If you want to take all the guess work out of buying a top end head horse, Kokomo has proven himself a winner at every level.
